As part of current legislation an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is
needed whenever a property is built, sold or rented. You must order an EPC
for potential buyers and tenants before you market your property to sell or

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) contains information about a property's
energy use and typical energy costs, along with recommendations
about how to reduce energy use and save money. It contains graphs, as
shown in the example below, which give a current and potential energy
rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) and is valid for 10 years.

If you are selling or letting your house, you must show potential buyers and tenants your Energy Performance Certificate. You can be fined if you do not get an EPC when you need one.

Please contact us for further details If you would like us to arrange an Energy Performance Certificate for you.
